About Brilliant Window Cleaners
Brilliant Window Cleaners started in 2007 with Patrick Oliver, one van and a pure water pole, just cleaning windows around Guildford. Nineteen years on there are two vans and four staff, and the work covers everything on the outside of a home or a business.
The business was based at Deepcut, between Camberley and Guildford, for most of those years and now works from Park Barn in Guildford. The rounds run within about 10 miles: Guildford, Woking, Camberley, Farnborough and the villages between them. Commercial contracts take the vans further, across Surrey, Hampshire and south Berkshire, and we have been a Preferred Supplier to LaddersFree, the national register of ladderless window cleaners, for more than eight years.
Patrick still quotes every job and answers the phone. That is why the reviews keep saying the same things: the price agreed was the price paid, the team turned up when they said, and if something was missed they came back. Checkatrade has vetted us since 2015 and holds 174 reviews at 8.9 out of 10. Google has us at 4.8 and Trustpilot at 4.6.
Windows are still most of what we do, but the pure water system, the poles and the platforms clean a lot more than glass. Gutters, conservatory roofs, solar panels, fascias and soffits, cladding and render, driveways and patios, roofs, shopfronts and office blocks, and the odd industrial job that nobody else will quote. If it is outside, we clean it.

How the pure water system works
The method on the side of the van, explained. It is why there are no ladders, no chemicals and no streaks.
Step 1: Filtered on our premises
Tap water goes through a five-stage reverse osmosis process until it is 100% pure, with nothing dissolved in it to leave a mark.
Step 2: Carried in the vans
Each van carries 350 to 600 litres, with a final resin and particle filter on board so the water is pure at the brush.
Step 3: Fed up the pole
A telescopic carbon fibre pole takes it to a soft brush that washes the frames first, then the glass, up to 65 ft from the ground.
Step 4: Dries to nothing
Because there are no minerals in the water, it dries without spots. No chemicals, no streaks, nothing left to attract dirt back.
How we work
The old site called these our guarantee, our health and safety and our methods. They have not changed.
Fixed price, never paid in advance. Patrick agrees the price before we start. You pay when the job is done and you are happy with it, by direct debit for regular rounds.
Free re-clean within three days. If you are not satisfied, tell us within three days and we return and do the job again free of charge. Ask for the work to be signed off before we leave.
Risk assessment before every commercial job. A 100% safety record with no accidents in 19 years, staff sent on St John first aid courses, and two-person teams on everything above 40 ft.
The right access for the building. Pure water poles to 65 ft from the ground. Ladders, harness and eyebolts, powered access platforms or abseiling where a building needs more.
