Who we are

These terms cover cleaning work carried out by Brilliant Window Cleaners Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales and registered for VAT, trading from 76 Park Barn Drive, Guildford, Surrey GU2 8ES. "We" and "us" means the company; "you" means the customer who books the work.

By booking a clean, whether by phone, text, email or the form on this website, you accept these terms. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask before the first visit.

Quotes and prices

Every job is quoted as a fixed price before we start, from a photo of the property, a postcode or a visit. The price we agree is the price you pay. We do not add charges on the day. If we find the job is different from what was described, for example a gutter that needs a second visit, we tell you and agree any change before doing more work.

Quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices for regular rounds stay as agreed until we tell you otherwise, with at least one visit's notice of any change.

Booking and access

Regular customers receive a text message the day before each visit. You do not need to be in, but we do need to reach the windows or gutters, so please leave side gates unlocked and move anything that blocks access. If we arrive and cannot get to the work, we may have to charge for the visit.

If you need to skip or move a visit, tell us before the day and there is no charge. Regular rounds run every four, eight or twelve weeks at the interval you choose, and you can change the interval or stop the round at any time by telling us.

Weather

We clean in the rain. Pure water dries without spots, so rain makes no difference to the finish. If conditions make a visit unsafe, such as high winds or ice, we move the visit and tell you.

Payment

We never ask for payment in advance. Regular customers pay by direct debit through GoCardless after each clean. One-off jobs are paid on completion, by bank transfer or card. Commercial customers are invoiced after the work with the payment terms stated on the invoice.

You are welcome to ask for the work to be signed off before we leave. If a payment is late we will send a reminder; if it stays unpaid we may pause the round until it is settled.

Our guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a clean, tell us within three days and we will return and do the job again free of charge. That has been our guarantee since 2007 and it applies to every job we do. Checkatrade's own guarantee also applies to work booked through them, on Checkatrade's terms.

Insurance and safety

We carry £5m public liability insurance. Commercial work has a written risk assessment before the first visit, and work above 40 ft is done in pairs. Most of our work is done from the ground with pure water poles, so nothing leans on your walls or gutters. We take care with plants, furniture and vehicles; if you believe we have damaged something, tell us within three days with a photo and we will put it right or agree what happens next.

What we do not do

We clean; we do not repair. If we notice a cracked tile, a loose gutter bracket or a failed seal while we are working, we tell you, but putting it right is a separate job for a roofer or builder. We do not pressure wash roofs, render or conservatory roofs, because it damages them; those are cleaned with pure water and a brush instead.

How we handle your details is set out in our privacy policy. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. They were last updated in October 2026 and may change; the version on this page at the time of booking is the one that applies.
