Who we are
This website is run by Brilliant Window Cleaners Ltd, 76 Park Barn Drive, Guildford, Surrey GU2 8ES. For anything to do with your personal data, emailsales@brilliantwindowcleaners.com or call 07761 558957.
What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the quote form: your name, phone number, postcode, the service you are asking about, and, if you give them, your email address and a message. The form is handled by Formspree, which passes your enquiry to us by email and keeps a copy on its own servers so nothing is lost. Formspree's own privacy policy applies to that copy.
Why we collect it and what we do with it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to quote for the work, and, if you become a customer, to arrange and carry out the cleaning. That includes the text message the day before each visit and setting up a direct debit through GoCardless if you want one. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share them with anyone else except the services we need to do the job, such as GoCardless for payments.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set tracking or analytics cookies and does not use advertising scripts. The map on the contact and areas pages is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads; Google's privacy policy covers those.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months. If you become a customer, your details are kept for as long as you are one and for six years afterwards, which is how long UK tax rules require us to keep invoicing records.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email sales@brilliantwindowcleaners.com and we will deal with it within a month. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This site links to our profiles on Google, Checkatrade, Trustpilot and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for what they collect.
